Q&A

Do I have to get the building permits?
No. Atlantic Deck Company submits all plans for review and takes care of any permits that are required along with any inspections that may take place.

What about the Home Owners Association (HoA)?
Atlantic Deck Company will provide you with the necessary drawings to receive HoA approval. They must be submitted and approved before construction can begin. Any changes needed to pass approval will be done at no extra charge.

How long should I wait before Paint/Seal/Stain my deck?
Typically any pressure needed materials need to dry out for at least one month in dry conditions and then a stain, seal, or paint can be put on. These times will lengthen during rainy periods and during the winter months. It is highly recommended that at least a clear coat stain be put on the material every two years after the initial coating. Composites and PVC materials do not require any stain, seal, or paint.

What kind of payments do you accept?
We accept personal checks, cashier’s checks, and cash. We also accept Visa and MasterCard.
